My name is Dan, and I’m a sudokuholic. Maybe more than a sudokuholic. I find that as I work sudokus, my brain is internalizing the sudoku pattern. When I started, I had to count out a row or column to find out which numbers were missing. Now I look at a row and think “there’s no 5 in that row”. As my unconscious mind takes over more of the work, I can tackle more difficult puzzles.
I’ve started doing sudokus in color. No numbers, just colors. This is very strange because it disrupts the normal numeric sequence. Give it a try.
