Sudoku texture

This image builds on Sudoku maze. I made the pattern much smaller. The cells (maze pieces) are 6 by 6 pixels. These are arranged into a sudoku pattern of 54 by 54 pixels. I made 9 different 54 by 54 sudoku patterns, and repeated them in yet another sudoku pattern, giving the 486 by 486 pixel image. So, 2 levels of sudokus, 10 sudokus in all. And there’s no reason I couldn’t take 9 images like this, and arrange them in a larger sudoku pattern. As usual, click on the image to get a new one.

So what is it? It has too much detail for a maze, so maybe it’s a texture. It’s random enough that the joins between the 81 cells are invisible. With more muted colors, it might make a good background for a web page. I think it would look good on a cubicle divider.
